VEGETAIRAN RAMEN BOWL WITH DIM SUMS

What's more comforting than a bowl of ramen noodles 🍜

This tasty vegetarian ramen soup is filled with zesty Asian flavors that features colorful veggies, tofu, and vegetable broth, that comes together in an hour



INGREDIENTS:

· VEGETABLE BROTH

· SOY SAUCE

· WHITE VINEGER

· CHILLY SAUCE

· WHITE SEASEME SEEDS

· SEASME SEED OIL

· CHINESE CABBAGE

· BOKCHOY

· BELL PEPPERS

· RAMEN NOODLES

· LEEK / GREEN ONIONS

· CARROTS

· GARLIC

· GINGER

· PEPPER

· LEMON ZEST

MARINATE THE TOFU:

  • In a ziplock bag flat bowl: Add soy sauce, vinegar, siracha sauce and ginger add the sliced tofu to the bag or bowl and let it rest for 15-20 mins

  • The marinated tofu needs to be cooked in the pan till golden brown

For Dim Sums:

  • In a pan add finely chopped cabbage, crushed tofu, finely chopped celery and ginger

  • Add soy sauce, vinegar and salt and sautee it for a few mins

  • Take ready wonton wrapper sheets and fill them with the stuffing and steam them for 15 mins

Ramen Noodles:

  • Boil the ramen noodles in hot water with little salt, strain and keep it aside

For Vegetable broth:

You can use the vegetable broth available outside or use homemade broth


  • In a pot add carrots, celery, onion, garlic cloves, oil, salt, black pepper, bell pepper, water and boil for 1 hour

  • Strain and store in bottle

Ramen Soup:

  • In a pot take the vegetable broth and add some water, add sesame oil, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, chilly sauce and white vinegar and let it boil

  • Add chopped Chinese cabbage, carrots, french beans and let it boil

  • In a pan take bok choy, leeks and marinate with sesame seeds, soy sauce, siracha with chilly flakes


IN THE BOWL:

  • Pour the soup

  • Add the noodles / ramen

  • Place the tofu

  • Place bok choy , leeks, bell peppers steamed dumplings and garnish it with sesame seeds and some lemon zest
